Mission
Our mission is to celebrate and elevate the spirit of the Vail Valley by bringing together farmers, artisans, chefs, and our community to share the best of local food, craft, and culture. Through the Vail Farmers’ Market & Art Show, The Thursday Meadow Market, the Kris Kringle Holiday Market, and seasonal Farm-to-Table dinners, we foster meaningful connections between visitors, locals, and the talented makers who shape our mountain lifestyle.
Vision
We envision Vail as a year-round destination where food, art, and community thrive in every season, from summer markets bursting with Colorado produce and handcrafted goods to winter streets glowing with holiday charm, creating unforgettable experiences that support small businesses, nourish our region, and celebrate the beauty and creativity of mountain life.
Parking & Getting to the Vail Farmers’ Market
Vail Village is designed for pedestrians, so parking in the immediate area is limited. We recommend planning ahead and using Vail’s convenient parking structures and free transportation system.
Where to Park
The easiest parking options for the market are:
Vail Village Parking Structure closest access to the market
Lionshead Parking Structure great for overflow with quick bus access
Red Sandstone Parking Garage additional parking with free bus service
All parking structures connect to the free Town of Vail bus system, which runs frequently between Lionshead and Vail Village.
Free & Alternative Options
Donovan Park free daytime parking (when available)
Ford Park event and overflow parking
Getting Around
Once parked, getting to the market is easy:
Take the free bus into Vail Village
Walk or bike along Vail’s scenic paths
Use your hotel shuttle if you’re staying locally
Local Tips
Arrive early for the best parking (especially Sundays)
Parking garages can fill quickly during peak hours
If you’re staying in Vail, leave your car and walk or take the bus
Locals are encouraged to bike or ride the bus
Oversized Vehicles
Oversized vehicles and trailers are not permitted in the village core and must park in designated areas along the North Frontage Road in West Vail.
